This scheme, along with the much-valued support from our corporate partners James Bryan Opticians, Chelmsford and Rose Opticians, Harlow will DOUBLE our fundraising potential through by match funding every donation we receive between 29 Nov and 6 Dec. This will make all the difference to a small local charity like us, at this time of national financial insecurities. We are striving to support our blind and partially sighted community through these difficult times and are grateful for all and any support you can give to enable us to continue our vital services.”
COVID19 and lockdowns have had a huge impact on blind and partially sighted people and their wellbeing. Social distancing measures were difficult for visually impaired people to cope with, making it hard to get out; leaving them even more isolated. In recent consultations, our users have told us that social activities and equipment demonstrations are a top priority for them and would aid in increasing their confidence and their social contact. Give big and make a huge impact to the lives of blind and partially sighted people.
Don’t forget to add gift-aid to your donation (which all UK taxpayers are eligible to do) and we can claim a further 25p for every £1 donated.
