My name is Zsuzsi and I have been working for Support 4 Sight since 2019.
I am managing the Support 4 Employment project, which is funded by the Big Lottery.
I started working in the supported employment sector in 2005 and have worked with disabled people with various conditions ever since.
Since 2011, I have been supporting working age blind and partially sighted people.
Initially, my role at S4S involved embedding the service within S4S and across the county, forming strong partnerships with other local societies and partners as well as engaging with the clients to ensure they had up to date information in order to make the best decisions regarding their lives.
I provide support to people who are looking for meaningful and sustainable paid employment or people who are in work but having work related issues due to their sight loss. I also help people who would like to be self-employed and people who are looking to volunteer. I am also advising people on working age and disability related benefits.
