I am a registered blind guide dog owner who has worked within the vision impaired community for around 10 years, volunteering as a My Guide Ambassadors with Sensing Change and Guide Dogs, as well as setting up my own organisation, iFit Suffolk, which focussed on creating sporting and leisure activities for blind and partially sighted people.
Having been a client in the Support 4 Employment service, I have recently been working as a Sensory Training Facilitator with Essex Cares Limited, and now look forward to transferring these skills into my employment and engagement role. I am keen to build awareness of what Support 4 Sight has to offer and support people in the same way as I have been supported.
