One of our members described a group of visual impaired or blind people as a community. Support 4 Sight recognises this and sees the value of gathering people with sight loss together because we know such communities not only learn from one another and that this in itself reduces isolation, they also forge valuable friendships and bonds.
Alongside this, our coffee mornings also facilitate the opportunity to view assistive equipment via our Roaming Resource Centre. If you are interested in trying something out, let us know and we will bring it along for a demonstration or chat through what is available to assist you.
Support 4 Sight now has coffee mornings in Braintree, Chelmsford, Takeley, Witham, Epping, Harlow and Saffron Walden.
