Support 4 Sight was honoured to be selected as the chosen charity, along with Hearing Help Essex, for this year’s New Year Concert at Chelmsford Cathedral on 4th January, hosted by the Rotary Club of Chelmer Bridge.
Our CEO Sharon Schaffer was present at this prestigious event attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Chelmsford and Rotarians across the region.
The concert featured the Essex Youth Orchestra and the Essex Youth Brass Ensemble, and included an impressive range of pieces from Shostakovich to Cab Calloway, and a new composition from orchestra member, 16 year old Atharv Gupta.
Sharon said, “We were so impressed with the concert, the orchestra and the all the work that went into it. It was wonderful to be amongst such young and impressive talent – very inspiring. Thank you so much for inviting us, and for choosing to support us.”
