An interesting and inspiring day was spent with our colleagues at Essex Cares Ltd last Thursday at the Technology Enhanced Care (TEC) Showcase. This fair for Social Care professionals brought together around 30 exhibitors. Justin and Sharon spent the day networking and investigating the latest developments in Technology Enabled Care. There was a wide range of equipment available from automatic lifting equipment to assist people who had experienced falls to robotic furry pets to support people with dementia. Justin was able to test accessibility for vision impaired people and Sharon got to play with a robotic purring cat!
