Christmas Cuppa Appeal
What does a cuppa mean to you? The chance to take a break? To have a natter? To connect with others?
For people with sight loss, this is often a rare opportunity – especially in another year dominated by the Covid pandemic.
This is where our Coffee Clubs come in. Our online and face-to-face coffee mornings offer people the chance to meet, make new friends and share news, views and survival tips.
For as little as £2.50 a month, the cost of cuppa, you can help us provide a lifeline to our Support4Sight community.
“Everyone is great and it is really helping with my confidence. I’ve met friends and I feel like I am getting a social life again”
Your monthly donation means we can schedule Coffee Clubs for the whole year. Add gift-aid to your donation (which all UK taxpayers are eligible to do) and we can claim a further 25p for every £1 donated!
£10 a month helps book a venue to hold a club
£20 a month provides 1:1 support to help someone attend
£50 a month helps train volunteers
“I enjoy talking and laughing with others and have learnt so much. I get really lonely and look forward to seeing my new friends and feel I am benefitting from support of staff and volunteers.”
Demand for the support we offer the sight loss community is greater than ever. You can help us meet it.
