Are you a dynamic and outgoing Community & Events Fundraiser, who will lead on the delivery of our community fundraising and events programme – the heart of our engagement and income generation strategy?
Working in Mid and West Essex primarily, Support 4 Sight is now 27 years old, supporting Visually Impaired people as well as supporting those around them, making a real difference, inspiring and empowering people after Sight Loss. In 2020 Support 4 Sight was awarded the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services in recognition of the quality and variety of work we deliver to our beneficiaries.
This is an exciting time for our Charity, as we continue to grow post-COVID and develop our small team in line with our ambitious plans. You’ll join us with previous experience in community/events fundraising and will be used to communicating to a wide range of audiences and stakeholders.
This exciting role is for someone with a previous track record in fundraising and will be highly organized, motivated, and enthusiastic about helping people with sight loss. The successful candidate will be able to work proactively in delivering tasks to a high professional standard, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a dynamic approach, and whilst they will be part of a small team must be capable of taking the initiative themself.
