Becoming a Friend
What's on this page
Approximately 100 local people will begin to lose their vision each year. A diagnosis of sight loss can be a frightening and isolating experience and one that will affect many of us, particularly in later life.
Support 4 Sight has been providing services for visually impaired people in Saffron Walden and the surrounding area since 1994. It remains an independent charity to this day, run by local people for local people.
Our services give people with sight difficulties the emotional and practical support they need to live the fullest possible lives. Support 4 Sight really makes the difference and local people can maintain independence and enjoy life with family, friends and colleagues with the help we can offer.
Donations provide a vital part of our income and we could not carry out our work without them.
Our "Friends" provide help and support for our work by pledging a regular annual amount, that can be as little as £20.00 a year.
Whatever its size, your gift will help us to make a real difference to the lives of local blind and partially sighted people. Inevitably as the population ages, the number of people needing our support and services will increase significantly.
Becoming a Friend of Support 4 Sight will help to ensure we provide services and new opportunities for local people into the future.
