Bookkeeper (maternity cover)
This role is needed to cover for maternity leave. The post-holder will be responsible for following procedures already in place for the day-to-day administration and finances of the charity, as well as the creation of quarterly management accounts which are reported to the finance committee. Monitoring of income and expenditure against budgets is also required.
To strengthen our charity’s Board, we are recruiting trustees who will replace retiring Board members.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join a busy charity that makes a difference to the lives of local blind and partially sighted people in Essex.
Experience in HR, IT and Finance would be an advantage. The role is not remunerated but reasonable expenses are paid.
